SEO Plugins for Firefox

Here a list of tools that we feel can be useful if you'd like to carry out SEO on your own site.

I won't say they're better than a human review, but they can add to your understanding as to how your site fairs in the search engines.

  1. Google Webmaster Tools
An essential tool to all you to accurately SEO your sites.
  2. Google Analytics
It may not be 100% accurate, but there's still loads of useful reports in there.
  3. SEO Chat
If you don't find yourself in this site for more than half an hour, there's something wrong with you, or your site is perfect.
SEO Tools

My favourites are:

  1. Code To Text Ratio
  2. Indexed Pages
  3. Keyword Cloud
  4. SEO Book Keyword Suggestion Tool
There's so much information in here that I wouldn't recommend its use by SEO novices.
  5. Quirk Search Status
There is just an immense amount of information from this SEO plugin for Firebox. All the information is basically to hand at the bottom of your web browser.
  6. SEO Quake
Another useful plug-in for Firefox. This shows you important SEO information about sites that you see in Google's results pages.
  7. Firebug
This is a great tool for exploring site's code without going "View Source" - interactive and exceptionally useful.
  8. SEO For Firefox
This Firefox plug-in shows you similar information ot SEO Quake, but goes a bit further.
  9. SEOMOZ Tools
This is one of the most useful and insightful sEO websites you could probably find.
